Industrial Clipping Machines for Meat Plants
M Line and MC Line pneumatic clippers with washdown-ready frames, working pressure up to 6 kg and non-toxic aluminum clips that never rust in cold storage or brine. Tamper-proof closure of whole poultry, beef and pork cuts at up to 40 cycles per minute, with spare parts in stock in São Paulo.

A Machine and Clip Combination for Each Cut
Clip gauge and clipper model are defined by the weight of the piece, the bag thickness and the presence of liquids at the closure point.
Whole Chicken and Poultry
Bags of whole chicken, poultry cuts and giblets, from 1 kg to 5 kg, closed before the freezing tunnel. The clip must survive handling in cold storage without loosening or rusting.
Beef Cuts and Vacuum-Packed Pieces
Primal cuts and pieces up to 8 kg in shrink or vacuum bags. They require the most robust clip in the range to withstand palletizing and refrigerated transport.
Pork, Offal and Cuts with Liquid
Ham, ribs, offal and products with brine or purge at the bag neck. The MC Line jaw pre-clamps the neck and expels the liquid before the clip closes, guaranteeing a watertight seal.
The Uniclip Standard in the Meat Industry
Washdown-Ready Structure
Main components built from materials that withstand heavy oxidation and approved industrial cleaning agents.
High Cadence
Pneumatic clippers reach up to 40 airtight closures per minute without operator fatigue.
Clip and Casing Integrity
Clips calibrated by our engineers to gather and seal packages without tearing natural casings or plastic films.
Pneumatic Clippers for Slaughter and Deboning Lines
Foot pedal actuation, working pressure up to 6 kg (kgf/cm² / bar) and anodized aluminum plus sanitary stainless steel construction for daily washdown.

M Line Pneumatic (M-3 and M-4)
Bench pneumatic clipper with foot pedal and tempered steel hammer. The standard choice for whole chicken bags and cuts without excess liquid, reaching up to 40 cycles per minute in continuous lines with no physical effort from the operator.

MC Line with Jaw (MC-3 and MC-4)
Two-stage cycle: the articulated jaw compresses the bag neck and expels brine or purge; then the hammer closes the airtight clip and the integrated knife trims the excess. Closes up to 60 mm in diameter inline with a stuffer and up to 100 mm on the bench.
Comparison: Aluminum Clip vs. Twine vs. Steel Clip
Why inspected meat plants standardize closure with aluminum clips.
| Parameter | Uniclip Clipper + Aluminum Clip | Manual Tying (Twine / Knot) | Steel Clip / Wire |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cadence per operator | Up to 40 cycles/min by pedal | 8 to 15 bags/min, with fatigue | Similar to aluminum, with jams from rust |
| Behavior in cold storage and brine | Non-toxic aluminum: no rust at -40 °C or in brine | Twine soaks and loosens | Rusts and stains the package |
| Sanitary compliance | Non-toxic alloy, no burrs, standardized closure | Irregular knot, no inspection standard | Risk of rust contamination |
| Tamper evidence | Omega clip only opens by cutting | Can be untied and redone | Tamper-proof, but corrodes over time |
| Operator ergonomics | Pneumatic pedal, hands free, no repetitive strain | Repetitive finger and wrist motion | Depends on the machine used |

Packaging Line Without Downtime
A stopped clipper during the slaughter shift means carcasses waiting and a crowded cold room. As manufacturers in São Paulo, with 32 years of Mecatec engineering and 11 years as Uniclip, we keep a permanent stock of hammers, dies, knives, springs and pneumatic cylinders with express shipping across Brazil, plus operator training and setup at installation.
Talk to Application EngineeringFAQ: Clipping in Meat Processing Plants
Which clipping machines are recommended for meat processing and slaughterhouses?
For poultry, beef, and pork processing plants, we recommend Uniclip M Line and MC Line pneumatic clippers. Built with washdown-ready corrosion-resistant materials, ergonomic foot pedals, working pressure up to 6 kg and high cadence operation for refrigerated environments.
Are Uniclip aluminum clips safe for food contact in meat packaging?
Yes. Our aluminum clips are manufactured from a non-toxic sanitary alloy, fully rust-proof in cold storage and brine, providing airtight closure without puncturing casings or plastic packaging.
Does Uniclip provide fast replacement parts for meat packers?
Yes. Uniclip maintains an ongoing inventory of hammers, dies, blades, springs, and pneumatic cylinders with fast dispatch across Brazil to eliminate production downtime.
Which clipper and clip should I use for whole chicken in plastic bags?
For whole chicken and poultry cuts from 1 kg to 5 kg, the standard recommendation is the M Line model M-3 (or MC-3 if there is liquid at the bag neck) with 600 Series clips (S-625, S-628, S-632 or S-638). The exact gauge depends on bag thickness and piece weight; Uniclip tests your packaging at the factory before recommending the clip.
What is the difference between 600 Series and 700 Series clips for meat plants?
The 600 Series (S-625 to S-638) is for packages up to 5 kg, such as whole poultry and medium cuts. The 700 Series (S-735 to S-747) handles pieces up to 8 kg and bulk bags, such as vacuum-packed primal beef cuts. Both are made from non-toxic aluminum alloy and do not rust in cold storage or brine.
